Thomas Tait RTW Fall 2012
One of 27 graduates of Central Saint Martins on this season’s London schedule, this Canadian designer drew attention with his minimalist tailoring. Now in his fourth season, Tait was ready for color — and a bit of fun. There were still the roomy coats and precision sportswear, but this time with a Sixties vibe that brought to mind an American diner — and The Avengers’ heroine Emma Peel. There were also oversized green wool baseball jackets, tight and cropped leather pants, funnel-neck tops and boots with kitten heels.
